What does this poem mean or interpret?

Silent Mark by Cecilia Borromeo

another day is here and my hands are still covered
with a mantle of stoic ink
words scribbled on a hesitant paper
wishing to be read now not later.

i want you to see this point-like light from an abyss
growing tongues tasting the wind
feel like the knife scraping soft butter
and see that small things matter.

but i still have no sense of complete abandon
to let the ink burn, to let it leak
until it forms a crystallized dew
becoming, at last, your scar tissue.

Im guessing its about an emo that has had some problem in life, remembering everything, with scars literal and not, maybe he finds something to hope for in the end? or maybe he hopes someone else will be happy so that he/she can be?

New York Yankees Tickets For A Day At Yankee Stadium

Their name alone brings to mind some of the greatest games in the history of baseball. You may be a fan who is young or old or anywhere in between and what you share with each person who admires and appreciates this team is a history built on performance and a whole lot of excitement. There is no question that the New York Yankees are a great franchise. Throughout their history they have been creating many wonderful memories for fans, coaches and their fellow players by playing some of the greatest baseball games in the entire history of baseball in America and that may be to understand the true talents and abilities of the New York Yankees.

Think championship games and the name of the New York Yankees must come to mind. Engage in a conversation about a team that has demonstrated time and again the ability to take themselves to the very top of baseball's finest and again, the New York Yankees are at the top of the list in such a discussion. In other words, the New York Yankees are recognized in the United States and around the world as one of the best of the best when it comes to baseball. This does not mean that the team is without imperfections and challenges in team members, coach, staff and even playing venues but throughout history, the New York Yankees have stood in line behind very few teams when it comes to playing some great baseball.

Known by nicknames such as "The Bronx Bombers", 'The Yanks", "The Bronx Zoo" and "The Pinstripers, the New York Yankees have retired numbers 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 23, 32, 37, 42, 44 and 49 to date. When it comes to major league titles, the New York Yankees have won the World Series 27 times, AL Pennants 40 times, East Division 16 times and Wild Card berths 3 times. The Baseball Hall of Fame has inducted 44 of the New York Yankees over the history of this franchise. Great players like Babe Ruth, Yogi Berra, Lou Gehrig and Mickey Mantle are some of the top names in baseball, hands down.

An interesting tidbit of history is that this franchise began in 1901 as the Baltimore Orioles. In 1903, they moved to New York and took on the name of the New York Highlanders. The team was officially renamed to the New York Yankees in 1913. At the start, the team's home games were held at Oriole Park. From 1913 to 1922, the home games were held at the Polo Grounds, which were also known as Brush Stadium. For one year, from 1974 to 1975, the New York Yankees played at Shea Stadium.

All home games are currently held at the new Yankee Stadium which was opened in 2009. The playing surface is Kentucky Blue Grass. The current stadium cost $1.5 billion to construct and is a state of the art facility that has a seating capacity of 50,086 that expands to 52,325 with stand room only options included for concerts and similar venues.

Visitors to this modern stadium, located at East 161st Street and River Avenue in Bronx, New York, can enjoy a center field scoreboard that has a view area that's a whopping 5,925 square feet. More than 1100 HD video monitors are strategically placed around the stadium. The clubhouse is 30,000 square feet of space that includes indoor batting catches and an underwater treadmill in a hydrotherapy pool.

Conveniently located for access by subway, bus and private vehicle, the new Yankee Stadium is the epitome of fan appreciation and player facilities excellent.

I am looking for something to hang above my fireplace for christmas....?

It needs to be approximately 3' x 1' ....it will go above a winter wonderland scene on my mantle....it needs to be more modern...no Thomas Kincaid type stuff and no primitive.... ANY suggestions???? Thanks!
I would like it to be something solid..like an actual framed pictured, or a canvas print or a wooden sign 3x1

You might try a beautiful custom framed mirror from a decorating store or framing shop like . Keep in mind that you can add some decorated greenery over the top of it, or even some laser cut lettering with a modern Christmas theme. Keep the frame wide in a black or chocolate color, or possibly a silver metallic to keep the theme modern. It will reflect evening light nicely while drawing attention during daytime. Keep in mind that any lighting you add such as candles or christmas lights will sparkle nicely against it. Hope this helps, Merry Christmas!

Simple Tip for Daily Skin Care

Once you have spent some time improving the health of your skin and giving it the tools it needs to rebuild itself, you can work on establishing the best possible maintenance routine. Remember that habits are made in three to four weeks. Start with what you know you can follow for those three weeks. If that means just working on establishing your skin maintenance routine for a month, then your hair routine, that's fine. Just don't forget your foundational routine improving your nutrition, hydration and rest!

FACIAL SKIN MAINTENANCE

Cleansing

All makeup should be removed before bed each evening. There are a countless number of products for cleaning your skin, with different formulas for each skin type. Unless you use heavy makeup, it's easiest to pick a cleanser that also removes makeup. Another option is to just use makeup remover or oil on eye makeup, as foundations and blushers usually come off easily with most regular cleansers. Either way, clean your facial skin every evening before bed, and again in the morning. If you've cleaned your face properly in the evening, morning skin will just require a light washing to remove sebum and sweat and prepare your face for your makeup.

If using a water-based cleanser, wet your face with lukewarm water. If using an oil-based cleanser, apply directly to dry skin.

Using your fingers or a soft cloth, gently apply cleanser in small circles over your face, working from your nose to your hairline. Don't forget to apply cleanser to your neck, using soft swipes upward towards the jaw line. Be careful not to pull or stretch the skin when cleansing.

Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. If you are planning to take a shower or bath, apply your cleanser before getting into the shower/tub to give it a few minutes to work on your skin.

Toning

Toning restores the skin's natural pH and provides a protective acid mantle that makes the skin stronger. It helps remove any cleanser residue and reduces the size of pores. Depending on your skin type, toners will range from gentle acidic formulations to highly antiseptic formulas.

Soak a cosmetic pad liberally with your toner and gently wipe your face from your nose outward and over the forehead. Don't forget your neck. You can use cotton balls, but cotton cosmetic pads are easier. You should avoid the delicate skin around your eyes unless using a very gentle toning formula that contains absolutely no alcohol or peroxide and only then to remove oil and dirt from the eyebrows.

Protecting

Your skin should be protected from harmful UV rays daily. "Protecting" is a two-step process. The first part of the process is providing your skin with antioxidants and ingredients that will help it protect itself by maintaining natural protective enzymes. The second part is providing it with sunscreen protection.

If you are going to use a vitamin/nutrient antioxidant solution or serum, you can soak a cotton ball with your solution and apply to face, patting your "problem areas" first, then gently wiping over the rest of your face. Apply to neck in upward motion. If using a commercial antioxidant serum, follow manufacturer's directions.

Moisturizing

As women get older, their natural sebum production slows. Skin needs inner and outer hydration to maintain is strength, flexibility and integrity. Moisturizers also reduce the risk of mechanical damage to the skin, by reducing friction and reducing the chance the skin will be stretched or torn by contact.

You can protect and moisturize in one step, but use an all-inclusive skin lotion that provides vitamins C, E, and A, and oils to moisturize and a sun block. You can also provide your own antioxidant protection by applying solutions of nutrient vitamins/herbs to your skin, then using a moisturizing sunscreen. We'll show you more about which ones to chose and how to apply them in later chapters.

Apply moisturizer lightly to face in outward motions. Apply to neck in upward motions. Be careful not to pull or stretch your skin. For daytime, if your moisturizer does not already contain sun protection, apply a grease-free sunscreen to your face, throat, as well as all body skin exposed to the sun.

Exfoliate

As your skin grows and repairs itself, the outer layer of dead cells slough off. To expedite this process and get to the fresher, newer cells below, it's recommended that you exfoliate your skin at least once a week. There are basically two ways of doing this, mechanically and chemically. For mechanical exfoliation, you can use a good skin scrub, a microdermabrasion cream or a loufah pad. Chemically, you can use one of the common acidic exfoliating preparations, glycolic acid peels, lactic acid peels, alpha-hydroxy, etc. Some skin cleansers come with this step built right inside the formula. Your skin type will determine how often you should exfoliate and which method you should use. Irritated skin, like that with acne, eczema or rosacea will not appreciate the heavy scrubbing of mechanical exfoliants, and even a chemical formula may be too irritating for more than occasional use. Older skin that is highly sun-damaged may require either or both methods, perhaps more often, to remove the layers of damaged skin and help stimulate the production of healthy collagen structures in the deeper layers of the skin. Again, we'll show you how to determine how often and which method of exfoliation will work best for you.

Whatever formula you plan to use, exfoliants should be applied similar to cleansers. If you are using a chemical peel, avoid "scrubbing" your skin, let the chemicals do the work. If using a scrub, apply VERY light pressure, and work in tiny circles. Again, be careful not to pull or stretch the skin.

Most exfoliants will require some time to "work". Applying exfoliants right before showering is a good idea, because you can rinse them off under the shower, which helps in removing any residue.

Masks

Facial masks serve several purposes, the most important one being the deep cleaning of pores. Masks are also made for super-hydration, the increase of circulation and for sheer enjoyment. Which kind you use and how often will be determined by your skin type and your results using the P-Method. Generally, it is a good idea to use a deep cleansing clay-based mask at least once a week. Various cosmetic clays are used in these masks because they "pull" and absorb impurities, dirt and dried sebum out of your pores, allowing sebum to flow naturally and smoothly, brightening the appearance of the skin, helping to prevent acne infections, and improving the texture of your skin. Several types of clay masks are available for every skin moisture type.

Apply the mask gently and allow it to dry. Most clay masks will require 10-15 minutes to absorb all the impurities and wastes from your pores. Rinse the mask off gently with fingertips - don't pull. Again, it's a good idea to apply these before getting into the shower.

After exfoliating or using a mask, tone, protect and moisturize your skin.

Example Routines

MORNING:
Cleanse: Use a gentle cleanser to remove any sweat or sebum from your skin.
Tone: Use the proper toner for your skin type. Using toner will help your makeup go on smoother.
Moisturize: Use a non-oily moisturizer if wearing makeup. The combination of an oily moisturizer and foundation can make a made up face look cakey and greasy within a few hours - even on dry aged skin. If you don't wear makeup, you can use an oilier moisturizer.
Protect: Absolutely necessary - use a sunblock of at least 15 SPF daily (unless you work the graveyard shift). Even the darkest skin should be protected from the harmful rays of the sun. Sun protection can also be found in some commercial foundation formulas. If you use a moisturizer or foundation with a built-in sunblock of at least 15 SPF, you do not need to add a separate sunblock, though you should reapply these throughout the day.

EVENING:
Cleanse: Cleanse your skin thoroughly before bed at night. Remove all makeup and use a cleanser that is right for your skin type.
Tone: Use a toner to remove cleanser reside and restore pH balance.
Protect: Add any anti-oxidant serum to your skin and allow to soak in (may be combined with your moisturizer.
Moisturizer: Add any special eye cream plus skin moisturizers gently to your skin.

Mario Conde - An Iron Mask Award

STONEHOUSE AND CONDE - TWO VICTIMS OF HATE.

Nothing has caused more conspiratorial theories and a deep rooted distrust of the powers that be, than the Man in the Iron Mask. No doubt the very famous one in the French dungeons, some two hundred years ago, is probably one of thousands who have for some inexplicable reason faced the fearsome, imposed isolation. Additionally and very probably, an unjust punishment to save the skins of the real culprits in positions of great influence. I met two of these and to this day I am not entirely certain what it is that they actually did to deserve such a violent and unusually fast removal from the face of the society in which they lived at the time. Behind it all, there is always one determined hunter who through jealousy or envy or bruised pride pulls out every lever to get the partially implicated victim crudely paying for it all, to the point of extinction.

I met two of them. One professionally and the other casually, completely unaware of his social status.

John Stonehouse a renowned British Labour politician was not the sort of person I would have ever assumed would have had anything to do with either a politically incorrect move or worse, anything criminally obvious. He had everything anyone could hope for – personality, high office and public esteem. This it would seem is common to all those who for no apparent reason at all, suddenly find their careers and their very lives explode before them to the point of rendering them helpless in their own defence. Jealousy, is the first thing that comes to mind as a motivating factor of such strength as to be able to creep behind the defences of people who without doubt had no reason at all to indulge in anything underhand. I can vouch for the first but know relatively little about the second - a brilliant Spanish Banker by the name of Mario Conde who took the institution into the end of the 20th. Century with a panache and billowing sails that rocketed him into the frontline of the most admired people in the country.

I used to chat with John Stonehouse in the lobbies of the House of Parliament and found him as professional as any politician in high office. He struck a figure like these victims often do, beyond the average one expects of Government spokesmen. There was nothing grey or dismal about him and he sought me out for one of those interchanges which I had regularly with people who felt that keeping journalists informed about good and bad aspects of issues which concerned them, was a democratic and enjoyable exercise. At the age of 21 or so, he filled my horizon with everything that one could hope for in a future full of success and fulfilled ambition. He had been Postmaster General. He was a front bench labour spokesman in the Wilson Government and without doubt hated by the Conservatives, not just because of his intelligence and aura, but because he was everything a good Conservative should be and I now think that this was a capital sin at the time (from the establishment point of view). The same forces later reached out for Harold Wilson who was also far too capable for his political affiliations.  Labourites were rabble and as such, ones who looked too publicly acceptable were a direct threat to those who felt they had the right to rule. My doubts were dispelled as the grotesque figure of a much overrated conservative giant loomed up and brushed past me with the manners of a drunken lout, practically pinning John against the buttresses of the cloister building. They were equally tall but that was just about all that linked them. The veteran conservative politican known in most politically conscious households for his bombastic front page incursions on popular issues, disliked John to the point of violence and the scene was almost frightening to a mere upstart like me who happened to be able to relate and sometimes be utilized by those with the ability to do so. "And what do you think you can tell this man that you cannot tell us in in the House..." he ranted, as John held his stand and looked on with dismay and perhaps a little disgust. I could not understand how two men of such stature could face each other in front of a public, a journalist at that, with such an obvious breach of good professional behaviour. I was not really that surprised, as I had in the past, faced a variety of drunk politicians in high office who were in the main, bloated figures always courting the press for the attention that gave them greater coverage and potentially increased mayorities at the polls. There was however a sad, obscene tone to this confrontation that told me that John Stonehouse was a much envied man with many enemies in the rarefied atmosphere of the grim House of Commons.

A Man of Destiny

John Stonehouse enjoyed the respect and what is more, the affection of many influential people in the country, probably on both sides of the political divide, including the Royals whose wedding present was a complete and stunning dining suite. I found out when it was sadly offered to me long after he died without knowledge on my part as to whom the antique dealer was referring to. It was a modern artisan copy of Victorian originals made by skilled craftsmen and probably bought at Harrods for him as a wedding gift. After accepting the price, I was shocked to hear whom it had belonged to and having come quite close to and missed him after his disappearance, I could not bear to use them. I sold them off to friends.

The peculiar situation in which the Labour party was placed, with the sudden and inexplicable retirement of Sir Harold Wilson has never been fully explained. It often made me suspect that there were things behind the demands made by the powerful and conservative elements in the society, which could perhaps have shed some light as to why such talent and capacity as that which John demonstrated, could have been blown up so suddenly. The very nature of of the accusations and tacit admissions surroudned what seemed like a hunted (or haunted) man. I suspected that he had, like all iron mask men, gone too deeply into the wrong political quarters where knowledge had become a dangerous thing. When I heard that his clothes had been found in a beach and that he appeared to have disappeared assumed dead, something told me that there was something wrong, I did not believe it, perhaps did not want to believe, but by then, I looked forward to our regular chats with the pleasure that came from exchanging impressions with a solid, unassuming and affectionate man.

He was caught out and linked to an attempt to obtain insurance monies, by deceit. I listened to his wife on the radio and scoured her voice for signs of genuine concern for his loss. Something in me told me, which I confessed to friends at the time, that he was still alive. And so he was, but nobody gave any credible reason for his unnatural behaviour or better still for something so out of accord with what one could expect with mere basic reasoning of a man of such lustre and outstanding capability. Today, many scores of years later, his intense greetings and paternal regard, strikes a bitter chord and when he emerged from prison many years after his incarceration, a broken man, with cancer and little time to live, I felt as helpless and as angry with his hidden persecutors as anyone could in the knowledge that lack of guile had sent him to the wrong corners unnecessarily. Britain had its hanging judges then and in those dark and sinister corridors of high level social undercurrents, anyone caught in the swirls and eddies of rank hypocricy, needed, not just friends, but the right ones to manouvre them to safety. What in my mind, could he have possibly done or been pushed into, to have forced him to set his death up in such a dramatic and childish way ?

Material Power with a heart.

Mario Conde was of a different order of things. He had, however, a great deal in common with John Stonehouse – the looks – the political potential and in his case the money to buy and make things move. I met him in a social training centre he had himself created on the beachside near Estepona, Costa del Sol. Like everything else he did, it was far reaching and advanced for the time. Much later and after the fall of Banesto Bank which he had raised to the highest levels, it was a forlorn and neglected complex being offered for the sort of money which anyone with reasonable bank savings in a recession economy could have bought for very little. The contrast of the two periods – of rampant optimism and grave devaluation could not have been starker, When I met him, he was every inch the glossy magazine figure he had turned into. I did not know who he was, but with a few years of journalistic experience behind me and a banking friend who had taken me there, I could tell that he was eyed with both desire and jealousy. I later learnt that to some he was a God of great proportions and to others haughty, arrogant and manipulative to the point of dangerous. I did not get either of those sensations and an airline pilot who had known him well for some time, confessed to me that his downfall had been promted by another banker with all the wrong personality profiles who wanted him closer than the seductive Mario would allow. Mario Conde came through as a a very ambitious but genuinely curious person in search of the meaning of everything including, I suspect, life itself. His voracious appetite for knowledge had driven him to the doors of secret institutions, like the Masons and contemporary Knights Templar. It was generally understood that the power behind him was the strange Catholic cult called Opus Dei which was later to be heavily involved with other Templars in Italy and Switzerland. The background links caused them to fuse with the Freemasons to create one of the most dangerous organisations in the world at the time – the P2 Lodge.  Religious power, mystical concepts, money and banking power were to produce waves in every society in the world and create instant captains at the head of giant organisations which challenged the political balance of the societies in which they appeared. Needless to say, when the heads started to roll they did with with obvious political shadows in the periphery. Mario Conde spoke to me with some air of mystery about matters which I had always been aware of even during my early and immature encounters with high political figures and I sensed that my own style of approach to subjects raised provoked his curiousity about my own person. We promised to meet elsewhere after his return for a conference at the centre, but it was the first and last time we were to meet as matters broke like thunder into the world press and this enigmatic but promising world figure hit the dust amidst accusations that have never been either properly clarified or substantiated. His long, lonely and obscene stretch within prison walls are too reminiscent of the man in the Iron Mask to produce anything other than disquiet at the power of the hidden figures who cause this to happen and exonerate others of worse highly defined crimes.

Was Mario Conde the victim of indiscreet incursions into the lives of people with the reins of power? Was he the subject of rejected personal attentions from others who set him up ? Whichever, the social sentiment expresses grave doubts about the reason for his curioius inability to defend himself, despite public support. Like Stonehouse, he had reached high levels of social contact, including it would seem, Royal familiarity, but it is highly unlikely that the weapons arose from those quarters. Royals will be royals and have misbehaved with great elegance throughout the centuries and sired both children and accumulated wealth by virute of their own spheres of influence. In many ways its one of the ways it protects its own interests to be free from political pressures. If anybody was to use that sort of information against Mario Conde it would have mostly likely been the bureaucrats with things to hide about themselves or others they chose to wrap their mantles round. Another factor may have been his open and unrehearsed comments which stemming from a highly intelligent mind, would have bruised the sentiments of the mediocre manipulators incapable of such vision. Mario Condo, like very few others, placed the political party system at the doorstep of the tombstone of democracy. Societies, however democratic, have a hard core of dangerous and ill defined people and movements which contain the sting and the venom for which enterprising and usually naive people with political potential are seriously unprepared. I was once told by a senior civil servant who dared to write about corruption in the service, that the combination of cults, personal bias and hidden treaties with mayor companies, including banks, could nail down anybody with the slightest degree of independent spirit. Behind the scene, these shadowy, cowardly figures, influence the judiciary, law enforcement agencies and fiscal departments. All of which, incidentally, becomes relatively easy through computerised national identity certification and the enormous amount of personal information stored in the grid. Party political privileges, bureaucratic inner cults and guild memberships provide the crisscross pattterns which enable someone somewhere with enough persuasion and vindictiveness to destroy the life of anyone whom they dislike or fear. The recent comments by a leading member of the British Conservative party knew exactly what he was saying when he said that he intended to address the question of returning the power of the bureacracy to the politicians and that of the politicians to the people, Perhaps then, people like Oscar Wilde, Rudolph Hesse, Janie Jones and all those relatively innocent people with too many attractive qualities who break social barriers will not face the loaded barrels of dirty tricks, judicial vengeance. In other words, perhaps those who may have perhaps not shared establishment views will one day cease to be forced to wear the iron masks that drove them to their horrifying, lamentable and clearly manipulated fates.

THAT WAS MY PREDICTION ON PRABHAKARAN

On May 18,2009 the Lankan government won the final war on LTTE.It may be of interest to read as to what I predicted on Prabhakaran. In my article entitled "VELUPILLAI PIRAPAHARAN(PRABHAKARAN)-A HERO OR A BIG ZERO? published in THE ASIAN TRIBUNE dated August 15,2007,I had predicted that Prabhakaran could not achieve EELAM.Please read the article reproduced below:-

Velupillai Pirapaharan (Prabhakaran) --- a Hero or a big Zero?

<!-- node -->

Wed, 2007-08-15 05:14 — admin

Predicted by M.K.Damodaran., Numerologist, Kerala,, India

Kannur, Kerala, 15 August, (Asiantribune.com): Numerologist M.K.Damodaran of Kerala,, India has predicted that, based on his calculations, Prabhakaran, can never get his Eelam. However, with 8 as his powerful number he can be a "twinkling star" if he turns to peace. If not, he will end up taking the cyanide capsule. Damodaran notes that though 8 is Pirapaharan's presiding number he is morbidly scared of this number. He also notes that Karuna's number is also 8.

The other option is to accept the negative attributes of Saturnian's 8 and get killed by his associates driven by desperation.

Damodaran also notes that though 8 is his presiding number he is morbidly scared of this number. He also notes that Karuna's number is also 8.

He adds that Prabhkaran "will face more threats from his own camp than outside."

Here is the full reading of Prabhkaran by Damodaran:

Findings in a nutshell:

1. The assassination of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was astonishingly associated with the significant numbers of Velupillai Pirapaharan.

2. The assassination of former Sri Lankan President Premadasa was also amazingly linked to Pirapaharan's prominent numbers.

3. Both the assassinations were precisely executed within a period perfectly connected with his numbers.

4. Pirapaharan is unlikely to be captured or killed by Sri Lankan forces. So, he is unlikely to don the mantle of a martyr-hero.

5. Possibility of carving out a separate Tamil Eelam is far remote.

6. Pirapaharan will face more threats from his own camp than from outside.

7. So, he has only two options:-

a) Turn a new leaf, eschew violent path, preach world peace and ensure his permanent place among the most glittering stars, like King Asoka, in the milky way of history.

This is not at all a utopian idea. Because, his mighty 8 represents the extreme attributes- the most mystical and the worst villainous. Thus the holder of this number can successfully control the prevailing conditions and turn the tide in his favor-provided, of course, he is determined. No doubt, Pirapaharan with the most enviable will power can effect a fundamental change.Pirapaharan is unlikely to be captured or killed by Sri Lankan forces. So, he is unlikely to don the mantle of a martyr-hero.

b) Persist in the Present stand, get detested and deserted by his close Tigers, as Karuna and others. (Incidentally, Karuna's name number is 8) In that case, he is likely to commit suicide.

c) Accept the negative attributes of Saturnian's 8 and get killed by his associates driven by desperation.

Detailed prediction:-

In my numerological research spanning over a period of 20 years and covering many well known personalities from Numero Uno Bill Clinton to Number 9 Glen MacGrath. I have found that the birth number, name number (occult number) and fate number of an individual immensely influence the scheme of things in his or her life.

My findings and predictions have been published on the basis of the feedback connected with the above numbers.

In this connection I would like to tell the esteemed readers of the ‘Asian Tribune‘ that I am an amateur in this field, that I don't claim to have any divine power- except that I have unalloyed faith in God !

Frankly, Pirapaharan's case is the hardest nut to crack and the most mysterious.

Mighty eight:-

First of all, let us consider his birth number 8. He was born on November 26, 1956. All persons born on 8, 17 or 26 of any month have birth number 8. Number 8 symbolizes two extreme positions- that is, potentially positive and extremely negative.

A person with the attributes of positive 8 will be highly philosophical and saintly. On the contrary, an individual influenced by negative eight will be dastardly dangerous.

Briefly speaking, a number 8 person can be a Budhist renouncing the pleasures of the mundane world or a red-hot revolutionary or an absolute anarchist. Normally, there is no middle path for them. However, in both cases, number 8,persons are normally found to be lonely in their innermost heart.

They are not bothered about what others say.

Is Pirapaharan Afraid of Number 8 ?

A journalist friend of mine, working with the 'Indian Express' had once told me that Pirapaharan has a morbid fear of number 8. He claimed to have known this from
the Time Magazine.

Interestingly, as far as I know, no major execution was made by the LTTE, that has connections with number 8.Pirapaharan will face more threats from his own camp than from outside

His Fate Number is 4

Pirapaharan was born on 26.11.1956. Adding the entire numbers, 2+6+1+1+1+9+5+6=31. Now, 31 gives 4 by addition (3+1=4).So, his fate number is 4. Remember, 4 doubled are 8!

His name number:

He is known as VELUPILLAI PIRAPAHARAN and VELUPILLAI PRABHAKARAN. So, both names are taken into account.

The name Velupillai carries the occult number 1 as worked out below.

v+e+l+ u+p+i+ l+ l+ a+I =6+5+3+6+8+1+3+3+1+1 =37

Thirty seven gives ten by addition (3+7=10)
Further, ten makes one by the same process(1+0=1)

Pirapaharan bears the name number 8, as furnished below.

P+i+ r+a+p+a+h+a+ r+a+n
= 8+1+2+1+8+1+5+1+2+1+5
=35

Thirty five makes eight (3+5=8)

Prabhakaran holds the occult number 3 as shown below.

p+r+a+b+h+a+k+a+r+a+n
= 8+2+1+2+5+1+2+1+2+1+5
= 30 (3+0=3)

Significance of double numbers:

Velupillai is 1 and Pirapaharan is 8. So Velupillai Pirapaharan is 18 (1+8=9) . Since Prabhakaran is 3, Velupillai Prabhakaran is 13 (1+3=4).

The occult significance of double numbers 18 and 13 will be elaborated more.

He is a Sagittarian:-

The period from November 21 to December 20 belongs to the zodiacal sign of Sagittarius. Being born on November 26, Pirapaharan is a Sagittarian. Lord of the sign Sagittarius is Jupiter, Number of Jupiter is 3.

Birth Place also significant! Thus, we have seen that numbers 3,4 and 8 are prominent in Pirapaharan's life.

He was born at VALVETITURAI . Significantly, this place has name number 40, which adds up to 4.

v+a+ l+ v+e+ t+ i+t+ u+r+a+ i
=6+1+3+6+ 5+4+1+4+6+2+1+1
=40(4+0=4)

Numbers 3, 4 and 8:-

Thus, we have seen that numbers 3,4 and 8 are prominent in Pirapaharan's life.

Letters and names to be considered:-

Let us consider the alphabets- L,S,T,P and V which has significance in Pirapaharan's life. The occult numbers of these alphabets are 3,3,4,8 and 6 (2x3=6) respectively.

Now, consider these names

LTTE=3+4+4+5=16(2x8)

SRILANKA=3+2+1+3+1+5+2+1=18

EELAM= 5+5+3+1+4=18

TAMIL EELAM=4+1+4+1+3+5+5+3+1+4=31

It is very important to see that the occult number of names -Sri Lanka, Eelam and Velupillai Pirapaharan is 18.

Numbers 1 and 8 are mutual enemies. So, number 18 is a dangerous number.

Number 18 signifies anarchy, upheaval, tyranny, war, revolution and bloodshed.

Rajiv Gandhi's Assaination

The assassination of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was associated with Pirapaharan's numbers 3 and 4.

Firstly, Rajiv was assassinated on May 21 (Two plus one gives 3) (2+1=3)

Secondly, Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated in the month of May, which is the fifth month from January. See, number 5 added to Pirapaharan's 8 gives 13- the double number of the name Velupillai Prabhakaran !

Also, 4 is his fate number (1+3=4).

Third day, on the day of the assassination of Rajiv, Pirapaharan was 34 years and 177 days old (34+177=211. And 2+1+1=4) Number 4 is his fate number.

Ominous similarities between the assassination of Rajiv and Premadasa:-

As in the case of Rajiv, the former Sri Lankan President Premadasa was also assassinated in the month of May.

Rajiv was assassinated on 21.5.1991.
Addition of the numbers gives 28
(2+1+5+1+9+9+1=28)

Premadasa was assassinated on 1.5.1993. Addition of these numbers also gives 28 (1+5+1+9+9+3=28)

On the day of the assassination of Premadasa, Pirapaharan was 36 years and 157 days old. Addition of these numbers gives 193, which adds up to 4! (1+9+3=13. Again, 1+3=4).

Again, consider the dates of the two assassinations, Rajiv Gandhi and Premadasa were assassinated within a period of 1 year and 346 days, which gives 347. The numbers added gives 14, which adds up to 5. Now add 5 to Pirapaharan's 8. The result is 13- occult number of Velupillai Prabhakaran .

What is in the Womb of the destiny for Pirapaharan?

We have already seen that numbers 3,4 and 8 are very crucial in Pirapaharan's life . Out of these, numbers 4 and 8 are more prominent. Also 8 is the double of 4.

Addition of 3,4 and 8 makes 15. Mutually shifting the figures we get 51. Hence, age 51 is very crucial for Pirapaharan.

Similarly, age 53 is also crucial, since it adds up to 8.

Elam cannot be carved out!

Number 18 is held by all the three names- Velupillai Pirapaharan, Sri Lanka and Eelam. Numerologically, number 18 is a highly calamitous one.

The names Kashmir, Mumbai and Myanmar etc. hold the name number 18.

Numbers 1 and 8 are mutual enemies. That is why number 18 is dreadfully dangerous. Addition of 1 and 8 gives 9. Number 9 stands in symbolism to the planet Mars. Mars represent war, upheaval and conflict etc.

So, there is possibility of intermittent war in Sri Lanka, especially because number 18 is held by all the three names.

The possibility achieving Elam is rather dim.

Pirapaharan can make or mar his future, because, his determination is much stronger.

Time too late to take a decision:-

Since number 8 has two extremes, he can turn a new leaf in his life and preach for peace. Thus he can be a twinkling star. If not, he will have to commit suicide by consuming Potassium Cyanide a 16-letter-name, equivalent to the occult number of LTTE!

So the million -dollar question is not whether he can, but whether he will!

Rare Baseball Cards That Have the Ability of Commanding High Prices

It is well known that collecting baseball cards is a hobby that quite a lot of people enjoy. For these people there is nothing more exciting than to come across a card which is not in their collection. Among the more sought after cards for baseball collections is that of vintage and rare baseball cards. These types of baseball cards, unlike your average baseball card have the ability of commanding high prices.

While many of the old baseball cards on the market are re-productions there are a few which are still made from the original material. These cards are quite valuable as there are usually only a few of these cards seen in public. The meaning of a few baseball cards can mean about 100 cards or less. The price for these cards is usually based on the condition of the card and the availability of these cards within the baseball card market itself.

You will find that some of these rare baseball cards are ones that we know quite well. You may recognize the names of Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth and even Honus Wagner. These baseball players are individuals who have had spectacular careers in the world of baseball. They were well known among baseball card collectors even during the days when they were playing.

For some of these players the companies which produced their baseball cards had the cards printed on thin and poor quality cardboard paper. The picture quality was perhaps not as sharp as today’s ones. As many people who collected these cards were children and fans of the game, the cards themselves were not protected. In many of these rare baseball cards you may see worn corners and edges. There may be some creases on parts of the card itself.

Now unless there is a large amount of damage to the cards, these rare baseball cards still have the ability of generating lots of excitement when they appear in public. The main reason for this is mainly due to the lack of cards which can be found by baseball collectors. For this reason when one of these rare baseball cards like that of the T206 Honus Wagner card surfaces you can see that collectors and wealthy fans themselves are gearing up for high stakes bidding.

Unfortunately most of us are unable to buy let alone see one of these magnificent rare baseball cards. If you ever have the luck to become the owner of a rare or vintage baseball card you will begin to understand the fascination these rare baseball cards have for so many people.

for all the baseball card collectors out there?

I haven't bought a pack of cards in a long long time but I thought it'd be interesting to know...

What is the most valuable baseball card you own? Doesn't just have to be monetarily.

I have a Topps Mickey Mantle from 1963 given to me by my uncle. Non-monetarily I value my Isiah Thomas rookie card and Griffey Jr. rookie card.

I have a This Belongs in the Baseball Section card from 2007 that I absolutely love

Main Things About Lymphoma

The word lymphoma actually means a tumor of the lymphatic system. This term is has Greek origins. Lymphoma actually describes the group of cancers in your lymphatic system. There are two main categories when it comes to lymphoma: Hodgkin' s lymphoma and all the other types of lymphoma known as non Hodgkin's lymphoma.

This type of cancer is a very spread one, more than half of all blood cancers that happen every year being lymphomas. The two main categories of lymphoma are actually named after an English physician named Thomas Hodgkin, who was the first to talk about this particular cancer type in the year 1832. Almost ten percent of all lymphoma cases that are diagnosed every year are actually Hodgkin' s lymphoma.

Lymphoma is actually the result of white blood cells that suffer malignant changes and then they start to multiply. As they start to increase in number, these cells outnumber the healthy cells and create tumors. The general starting point of lymphoma are the lymph nodes or tissues that are found in your intestines or in your stomach. In many lymphoma cases, the blood and bone marrow will also be affected. There are many lymph nodes in your body and lymphoma may start from any of them as well. Furthermore, this cancer, like all other cancers, will spread.

The most frightening thing of all is that the number of non Hodgkin' s lympoma cases has doubled in the last years. Because the cause of this lymphoma types is not yet known for a fact, the reason for the spreading of this disease is also not known for sure. However, there are factors that increase the risk of non Hodgkin' s lymphoma and many of them are believed to be the culprits. The main reason of all is thought to be the HIV virus. This virus causes immunodeficiency. The number of people that suffer from non Hodgkin' s lymphoma and also have HIV is so high that this is probably the main reason why in the last fifty years this type of lymphoma has spread so fast.

The Epstein Barr virus is also very highly linked to non Hodgkin' s lymphoma. However, this are some rare case of lymphoma. Infections, especially viral infections are in many cases related with this particular type of lymphoma. Bacterial infection do not seem to case any difference in lymphoma cases.

All About Diamonds

Every body know that diamonds is most beautiful stones in over the entire world but a very few people know that what is diamonds and where is it found? Diamond may be up to 3 billion years old, which is much older than their surface host rock. Diamond crystallization originates some 200 kilometers, or 320 miles, beneath the surface and the disaggregated crystals are merely transported to the surface via kimberlite and lamproite pipes. These igneous host rock formations are roughly cylindrical in shape and act as a conduit from the Earth's mantle to the continental crust. Today, 75-80% of the world's natural diamonds are used for industrial purposes and 20-25% for gemstones. Diamond may even be found in meteorites.

Diamond is a colourless exceptionally hard mineral (but often tinted yellow, orange, blue, brown, or black by impurities), found in certain igneous rocks esp. the kimberlites of South Africa. It is used as a gemstone, as an abrasive, and on the working edges of cutting tools. Composition: carbon. Formula: C. Crystal structure: cubic. Name derived from the Greek adamas meaning invincible. Relative density 3.50- 3.52. Cleavage eminent along octahedral faces. Fracture conchoidal. Tenacity brittle. Lustre brilliantly adamantine. Refractive index 2.417- 2.419. Dispersion strong 0.044. Diamond crystals form as cubes, octahedra , the most common gem form, and dodecahedra. Colourless to yellow diamonds which have a strong absorbtion line in the violet end of the spectrum are members of the Cape series. Color is usually pale yellow to colorless, but can also be brown, blue, green, orange, red, and black.

The most famous diamond bearing country is South Africa. The first diamond was reported in 1866. By 1869 an 83.5 carat diamond had been found and was named The Star of Africa. It was subsequently cut into a pear shape brilliant weighing 47.74 carats. The Golconda area of Southern India has been the source of some famous diamonds such as the Koh-i-nor (mountain of light 186cts cut to 108.92 cts and now in the Tower of London) and Jehangir. Diamond is widespread in Brazil, most stones being small but of good gem quality. Alluvial diamonds have been found in most states of the USA. White and fancy coloured diamonds such as pinks and pinkish browns are mined at Argyle in North Western Australia. Other important producers are Russia, now the fourth largest producer, and China.

I want to make a homemade going away present for my boyfriend. IDEAS??

My boyfriend is moving & i want to make him a homemade present. Since he is really into art, I want it to be something he can put on his shelf (but not a poster, scrapbook, or a picture frame) and see every morning when he wakes up. I was thinking of making him turtle doves (one to stay with me and one to go with him) or something like that. Like a small sculpture/mantle piece made of some medium (shells, buttons, etc), since I can't draw to save my life.

Any ideas for what to make and more importantly, HOW to make it? Something unique and thoughtful...arts & crafts type stuff...

THANK YOU! :)

I love your turtledove idea. If you can mold/sculpt at all, you might want to try polymer clay (like Sculpey) that you can get in most craft stores, you bake it in your oven to harden & can paint or carve it when it's done & it also comes in all kinds of colors, also they have "paper clay", that's pretty easy to work with & air dries. I don't think they come in colors, but you can paint it after its dry. I've used both (along with tons of other mediums) & like both. Since your boyfriend is moving, the paper clay may be better because its much lighter in weight, & does dry pretty hard. If you're going for detail though, then try the polymer clay. Don't be afraid of it either, it's inexpensive & a lot of fun to use. I'm a professional sculptor, my husband "can't draw to save his life" either, :o ) but he snagged some of my polymer clay once & made a copy of a hand doing the peace sign, it's fantastic, so go for it. LOVE YOUR IDEA!

Ornaments Add the Finishing Touches to a Room

An ornament can be so many things. The finish touch to any room, ornaments come in limitless shapes, sizes, materials and styles. They can be picked up anywhere from the supermarket to specialist dealers and one can be found to suit any budget. If you have a room that needs a lift or is lacking in unity and a central theme, with the help of simple ornamentation and detailing you may be able to avoid the expense of redecorating.

Our love of ornaments and decorating stretches back even further than architecture itself. Cavemen where painting the interiors of their caves long before we had invented walls. The Romans and ancient Greeks famously filled their temples, homes and streets with busts and statues. Even functional features like columns were beautifully and lovingly with no regard for the extra time required to create such detailed surfaces. Today these ancient forms of ornamentation remain as popular as ever. Framed pictures are still our favourite type of ornament for are homes. The reasons for this are clear to all- a photograph or painting can take us anywhere, take back to a special time, remind us of loved one and create any mood, all whilst matching, complimenting and enhancing the surrounding décor. The frames too can be found in any style, represent any period and match any budget- they can sometimes be considered works of art themselves. The classic bust or statuette has also retained its popularity, especially in outdoor settings where their size and robustness fits perfectly.

However, the most loved material for ornaments by homeowners over the last decade is undoubtedly wood. Wood of any type, carved in any style adds instant warmth and humanity to any space. It appeals to something instinctive and basic in us as the carving of wood has been a part of mans history since the dawn of the species. It has enabled us to hunt, it has sheltered us, it has even helped us to travel. Including wooden ornaments around your home is a failsafe way of adding interest without risking a design gaff. Rustic, tribal, modern and natural styles can all be found in wood and will all sit perfectly on a mantle, shelf, sideboard or table.

Plants are also extremely popular as ornaments these days. The natural architectural style of the Yucca or the cactus make for striking decoration to be used anywhere in the home whilst the gentle curves and bright flowers of the Shield Aralia will bring real elegance to any space.

Though still popular in the classical style, statues now come in a huge range of styles and materials which allows them to fit into any scheme or setting. Cast iron, marble, plastic, fabric, glass and concrete all make for very chic and well defined style statement when shaped into a modern and representative style where figures aren't bound by classical proportions and realism and are instead supposed to convey feeling and expression.

Nature also provides plenty of free ornaments if you are prepared to look, pebbles, rocks, driftwood, pinecones, and shells can all be arranged or used to fill a vase to beautiful effect.
