United States of America, the name is the identification of its beauty. Though it seems absurd to describe the vacation spots of US in some mere words, still let us see some important US vacation spots, which are famous most!

The very first name that comes to mind about the US vacation spots is obviously the Hawaii. Hawaii is located in the southernmost post part of US and the whole Hawaii city is surrounded by water! One can find lots of Volcanoes in Hawaii. Due to the constant eruption of lava the Hawaii (island) has the tendency to grow further if calculated in amount of land! Ala Kahakai National Historic Trail, Haleakala national park, Mount Mauna Kea are worth watching. And one must include islands like Hawai’i, O’ahu, Maui, Kaua’i and Lana’ in the list of worth watching places in Hawaii.

The second name will be Las Vegas surely! The main attraction of the city Las Vegas is obviously the Las Vegas Strip. Las Vegas is the place, which is known as the main Casino Central of USA! Tower Stratosphere, the half sized replica of Eiffel Tower is really beautiful in Las Vegas. The landscapes of Spring Mountains, Sheep Mountains, Muddy Mountains, and Lake Mead are also worth watching places in Las Vegas.

The third spot will surely be the Florida! Florida vacation spots includes Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, St. Petersburg as the top vacation spots. The Daytona Speedway, Homestead-Miami Speedway are situated in Florida too. And last but not least the biggest vacation resort of the world is Walt Disney World resort, which is in Florida.

Now this is the time for California! The first thing comes to mind about California is The Hollywood-sign. Yes! The Hollywood-sign is situated in California. Besides of Hollywood-sign one can find Silicon Valley, California Central Valley, Tech Coast, Napa valley, Santa Barbara or Paso Robles and Disney Park really interesting!

Revealing the beauty of Texas now! Texas is more famous for its natural landscapes. The natural landscapes of Caprock Escarpment, Edwards plateau, Wichita Falls, Lake Meredith National Park, Playa Lakes are really worthy to watch!

Georgia is also one of the famous most vacation spots in USA. The Georgia State Capitol Building has a gold dome and the most famous thing to watch in Georgia! Other than that one can enjoy the natural landscapes of Savannah River, Seneca River or Chattooga River.

Virginia is another city with great natural landscapes like Ridge and Valley, Shenandoah Valley, Blue Ridge Mountains, Foothills, Piedmont, Richmond etc.

New York is also the city to be mentioned! Midtown Manhattan, Bear Mountain Bridge, Grand Central terminal, Buffalo, Elmira, Saranac Lake, Utica are the top tourist spots in US!

Also one has to mention the Grandfather Mountains, Western North Carolina Mountains, Bodie Island Lighthouse, and Charlotte’s Growing Skyline as the vacation spots of North Carolina.

In Colorado, Cliff Palace, Mesa Verde national park, Southern Rocky Mountains, Mount Albert are the important vacation locations!

Your friends at Blue Ridge Trading Company would like to remind any of you who live any where near the Blue Ridge Mountains it is time to gather family or friends and ride the Blue Ridge Parkway and view the leaf changes. There is no fee to travel the Parkway and leaves are right now in the peak of their change. The golden yellows, orange and red leaves are vivid and absolutely gorgeous.

Outstanding mountain scenery and recreational opportunities make the Blue Ridge Parkway one of the most popular units of the National Park System. The Blue Ridge Mountains favorite drive winds its way 469 miles through mountain meadows and past seemingly endless visitas. Split-rail fences, old farmsteads and historic structures complement spectacular views of distant mountains and neighboring valleys.

Naturally, there is no better way to view this fall scenery then on a motorcycle. Since I live at the base of the Grandfather Mountain take my advice. Before departing on a motorcycle make sure you listen to the weather forcast. Mountain tops are much cooler than the valley's below. Also, make sure to take along your motorcycle apparel even on a hot day. You never know when you are going to have a breakdown and at sundown it gets cold.

The Blue Ridge Parkway connects the Shenandoah National Park near Waynesboro, Va (Milepost 0) with the Great Smoky Mountains National Park near Cherokee, NC (Milepost 469). If you would like to ride sections of the Blue Ridge Parkway you can find entrances and exits at all major federal and state highways. At each parkway entrance a directional sign indicates north or south. North toward the north end of the Parkway, leads to Shenandoh National Park. South, toward the south end of the Parkway, leads to the Great Smoky Mountains.

Asheville and Boone, NC along with Roanoke, Va are the largest cities along the route. In Virginia, Interstates 64, 81 and 77 all have directions for accessing the Parkway. The same is true for Interstates 40 and 26 in North Carolina. Their are facilities, including picnic areas, campgrounds, visitor centers, and concessions. Facilities are in full operation.

Some more tidbits good to know about the Blue Ridge Parkway is that the Parkway Headquarters is at Milepost 382. The park information line is 828-298-0398 and it provides the most up to date information on facilities, activities, and road closures.

The Blue Ridge Trading Company suggest you change the humdrum of life. Get out of town for awhile and leave your problems behind for a day or two. Travel to the tops of the earth and enjoy the fall change. The mountains are waiting for you.
