A really weird thing has just happened, can anyone explain?
It's Armistice Day today and so at 11am we had a 2 minutes silence. I always stand and observe this, and watch the Cenotaph ceremony on BBC1.
I'm at home today. Just before 11am I noticed my mantel clock had stopped - the second hand seemed to be stuck but was still trying to move. Just after the 2 minutes silence it started up again and is now working fine. The clock is good, the battery is new - any explanations?
It shares a shelf with a lot of original WW1 memorabilia that I got from Belgium. Don't know if that is relevant, I think it is. Its a bit freaky!
That's wierd, but actually quite nice, It's very strange how it just stopped at that moment on that day for the amount of time u should be silent for : s
Maybe someone is trying to thank you for taking the time out to pay your respects.
