Clock makes buzzing sound (From plug)?

Woo new clock. No! It makes a buzzing sound from the plug (Part that goes in wall with two metal pieces) and wakes me up in the middle of night. How can I fix this? And why does this happen?

Some hums/buzzes are the result of a faulty wire or wire not being grounded. In any case, buzzing sounds usually result from an electrical arc or spark If it's loud enough to wake you, then something is wrong. Try a different outlet to see if it's the clock or the outlet. If it's the clock, I'd take it back to the store where you bough it and exchange it.
